Ronan Shields writes a good article in NMA questioning whether tablets should be considered ‘mobile’.
Recent stats suggested that only 15% of tablet users use their devices for their daily commute, and our personal experience is the stats for iPads follow conventional computer usage much more closely than they do other mobile devices.
Considering tablets to be a home based device should fundamentally change how a tablet application should be designed and developed, and opens up new business models that can be supported by the app.
